Koguryo!

Adam and Jack have been taking Koguryo Tang Soo Do, a form of martial arts. They LOVE it! There is class 5 days a week. We have the option to go as many times as we want. And the boys want to go EVERY day! Their friend, Emmett, signed up too. It works out perfect because when I pick up Emmett I drop off Maya to play with Eve and Juliet.

The boys are testing today to try to get their Master White belt. There are 2 fighting combinations they need to know. They also have to know their Grand Master and Masters, along with 2 rules. The rules they had to memorize are "Children shall be respectful to their parents and grandparents at all time"....love it! and "Children shall be respectful at all times". They also know how to count to 5 in Korean.

Koguryo is great for teaching them all sorts of things. The boys have to sit in silence for meditation, raise their hand to speak, say "Yes, Sir" when spoken to, no tattle tailing (which is a biggie), look their Master in the eyes when talking to, bow to their seniors, sit still with hand on knees when waiting their turn...all kinds to stuff that will help them outside of Koguryo.
