I took the boys to see Santa at our local fire department. They were really excited to see Santa and I was excited to see what they would say they wanted. Jack is pretty consistent with his request for a dinosaur book. Adam keeps changing his mind. I thought he wanted a bow and arrow (which I found a plastic one for 5 bucks!), but now he says he want a lego starwars ship? I'm going to have to tell him he can't keep changing his mind....we don't Santa to get confused!When we were there we ran into our new friend, Michael. Michael is a sweetheart and the boys LOVE playing with him. It's an extra bonus that he lives only a few houses away!
Oh, and the local newspaper asked for a picture with the boys on Santa's lap and asked if they could print their picture. Can't wait to see it!
Maya wasn't able to come. She's sick. Chad picked the kids up from church so I could go to the 11:00am service (I worked in the nursery at the 9am service). He attempted to take them to McDonalds so they could play for a bit. As he was ordering the food, Maya threw up! Then, when he got home she....well, let's just say, she didn't make it to the bathroom! I'm secretly glad I wasn't home for all of that! I'm hoping she is okay tomorrow.
