Big Boys!

I can't believe how big the boys are getting. They do or say something every day that I desperately want to remember forever. It saddens me on how fast they are growing. They are so independent lately.

Adam's new thing is to have privacy while going potty. He doesn't say a word, he just goes in the bathroom and closes the door, and does his business. (I do wish he'd let me help him wipe though...)

Adam is super sweet and very sensitive to everyones feelings. I love how innocent he is. Oh, and when he sees a neighbor from afar, he runs up to them and says "Will you play with me?" It's so sweet! Ironically, he loves guns/swords and turns everything into a weapon. He also has the BEST shooting sounds. (I don't know where he gets it? I think he is just ALL boy!)

Jack on the other hand....
Jack is quite the character. He loves to be social and especially loves attention. He still hasn't learned what personal space is. We went to the park the other day and he walked up to a girl (about 12 years old) and asked her name. The next thing I hear, Jack is bossing her around telling her to count to 10 because he's going to hide.

Jack has been testing me lately (duh). He knows he's not suppose to say the word "Butt", so instead he says peanut BUTTer, with the emphasis on Butt. When he says the word "butt", I'll tell him to not say it. So, what does he do? He says, "I'm sorry I said the word BUTT, I know BUTT is a bad word, I won't say BUTT anymore." Ugh!!!

Another funny BUT(T) story...

My friend was over the other day and we were talking while the kids were playing. In the middle of our conversation, Adam says, "Ali, you said the word BUTT". It was funny that he was tatteling on her for using the word but (with 1 "t").

Anyways, my boys are so wonderful and love how confident and independent they are becoming. I just wish I could slow the time down a little...
