"The Easter Bunny is coming!"

The boys are so excited that the Easter Bunny is coming. I took them to Easton to see the Bunny today. Adam and Jack walked right up to the bunny while Maya stayed back and observed. After we saw the bunny, we went to play at the water fountain then got ice cream. Now we are just waiting for Grandma Jenny and Grandpa Scott to come for Easter. Oh, and of course, and waiting for the Easter Bunny to come, too!

Big Boys!

I can't believe how big the boys are getting. They do or say something every day that I desperately want to remember forever. It saddens me on how fast they are growing. They are so independent lately.

Adam's new thing is to have privacy while going potty. He doesn't say a word, he just goes in the bathroom and closes the door, and does his business. (I do wish he'd let me help him wipe though...)

Adam is super sweet and very sensitive to everyones feelings. I love how innocent he is. Oh, and when he sees a neighbor from afar, he runs up to them and says "Will you play with me?" It's so sweet! Ironically, he loves guns/swords and turns everything into a weapon. He also has the BEST shooting sounds. (I don't know where he gets it? I think he is just ALL boy!)

Jack on the other hand....
Jack is quite the character. He loves to be social and especially loves attention. He still hasn't learned what personal space is. We went to the park the other day and he walked up to a girl (about 12 years old) and asked her name. The next thing I hear, Jack is bossing her around telling her to count to 10 because he's going to hide.

Jack has been testing me lately (duh). He knows he's not suppose to say the word "Butt", so instead he says peanut BUTTer, with the emphasis on Butt. When he says the word "butt", I'll tell him to not say it. So, what does he do? He says, "I'm sorry I said the word BUTT, I know BUTT is a bad word, I won't say BUTT anymore." Ugh!!!

Another funny BUT(T) story...

My friend was over the other day and we were talking while the kids were playing. In the middle of our conversation, Adam says, "Ali, you said the word BUTT". It was funny that he was tatteling on her for using the word but (with 1 "t").

Anyways, my boys are so wonderful and love how confident and independent they are becoming. I just wish I could slow the time down a little...

Nana's Tree

Nana has always put this pink Easter tree out for Easter. I've always thought it was cute and told her if she ever wanted to get rid of it, I'd love to have it. So....it came in the mail the other day! We call it "Nana's Tree" and the boys had a blast decorating it. Chad on the other hand...well, you can imaging his thoughts on a pink tree with bunny ornaments hanging on it! I especially love the sentimental value of it!

Lovin' the 40's!

Saturday!

Our version of a picnic
(p.s. my garage doesn't always look like that!)

Maya rollin' on her motorized four-wheeler

Jack on his scooter

Miss Maya sporting her purse

...still holding her apple...(for some reason she carried it around all day!)

Jack writing his name

Adam riding his four-wheeler

Monkey see, monkey do...Maya always copies Jack & Adam

Brothers chillin'

Sunday!

Jack on his scooter again

Maybe I should make him wear his helmet...

Maya loves her helmet. She INSISTS on wearing it!

...even while riding her little "bike"

Cutie!

Lovin' the shades...

...while enjoying the sun

Who doesn't love a snack of crackers and marshmallows?

Even Daddy and Lola enjoyed snack time

Looks like I need to buy the boys their own sunglasses

Should we take bets now as to when Jack will lose his other front tooth? At least he's wearing a helmet!

My Name!

I'm so excited for the boys! The both have just learned how to write their names. Chad has been working with them for awhile and it looks like it payed off. Yay, Daddy!
