I'm pretty sure the "terrible twos" have hit. Overall, the boys are good, but there are new behaviors that are quite frustrating. Lots of taking toys from one another, pushing, hitting, testing and just plain naughty behavior. I need to find a discipline technique that I can be consistent with and that works.
On the flip side, they both are going through a lovey (clingy) stage. Every day at 4:30 Jack seems to have a melt down. He wants me to hold him and carry him. Also, they are competing for my attention. If Jack climbs on my lap then Adam climbs up too.
Poor Maya, she is constantly getting beat up. Between me poking at her to get her to move and the boys sitting on her she'll probably be a tough little girl when she arrives. I'm hoping the boys are lovey to her. We'll see. I'm anticipating a daily battle with me telling them "easy", "be nice to Maya", "touch softly".
I love the above picture. Since the boys have the freedom being in twin beds they like to switch it up. Everyday they change beds. They either switch in the night, get in bed together or choose the opposite bed they took their nap in. I'm surprised they don't prefer one bed and stick to it? Hey, as long as they are happy and sleeping well, mommy's happy!
