I finally have the nursery done (pics below). It turned out really cute. It was quite a process though. I originally painted different stripes on the walls. After 4 plus hours of measuring, taping and painting, I took off the tape and hated the stripes. So I started over. I also had intentions of leaving the queen bed in there, but the room is too small for that and the crib and chair. After all the tweaking, it's done and I love it. I'm relived to have it done so quickly. It only took a few days, but if I waited much longer I don't think physically I could have finished it. All the room needs is Maya.
Adam and Jack love their new beds (pic below). When we first got them, I had the beds on bed frames. After deciding it was too high (okay, after Chad decided they were too high) we put the beds on the floor. It's funny because every time it's nap or bedtime, we go in their room and I say, "get in bed." Each time they get in a different bed. They even have snuggled once in the same bed, which last all of 2 minutes.
We've been playing outside a lot lately. It's so nice for the boys to burn that energy off. We have this little plastic slide that they love to climb up and down. And the swing is always a hit. Jack used to be scared of going high, but now he loves it. The higher the better. The biggest hit is the sprinkler. I turn it on really low and they walk over it. I'll have to take pics next time.
