We love daddy!

The boys have been so fun lately. And I only say that because each day they seem to understand more and show their personalities more. I love to sit back and watch them interact with each other.

Today, I gave the boys each the same toy to play with. Jack kept taking Adam's toy and crawling in the opposite direction. Adam was chasing him, while Jack was trying to do his best to keep away. Later in the day, Jack was sleepily sitting on the couch with his binky and baby, when Adam came right up to him, pulled his binky out of his mouth and ran away with his baby. Jack cried and cried. Most of the time they get along well and like to play with each other. I love when they make each other laugh and then try to copy each other.

Jack is still trying to walk. He can walk across the room and take about 7 steps until he falls on his bottom. He likes to walk, though he looks like he's a drunk man wobbling around. If he's in a hurry he will crawl. I would say in the next week he will be walking exclusively. Adam still is not sure legged. He is standing on his own for a few seconds, so I know it won't be long until he's a walker.

Tomorrow I am hosting a playgroup. This playgroup is about 5 moms from the library that get together because the library playgroup we usually go to on Tuesdays is off for a few weeks. Beside this group, the boys and I also belong to the New Albany Moms Club that meets every other Friday. This group consists of moms that have little ones between the ages on 1 month to 2 years. The next playgroup we attend is the neighborhood playgroup. This meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. All the moms live in the neighborhood and have kids about the same age as Adam and Jack. We are also doing a Breakfast Club that meets once a week. Now obviously this is for the moms to enjoy hot coffee and adult conversation. The four other moms that do the breakfast club I met through the other playgroups. As if we aren't busy enough with playgroups, we still attend Gymboree once a week. Thanks to Gwen, I do have a social life as a mommy! Thanks Gwen! (When Gwen and I aren't busy with the playgroups we go to each other houses...everyday, or just about).

Chad's always wondering if I ever say anything about him in the blogs. Well, here's my Chad shout out. Chad is a great daddy. This weekend, whenever Chad would leave the room both of the boys would start crawling to the baby gate crying. Of course I was like, "Hey, I'm still here!" I guess little boys and their daddies have a special bond. Today he brought home 3 large toys that his co-worker gave to him. It was like Christmas when he came upstairs with his presents. I love that when I hear the garage door open, I say to the boys, "Daddy's here!" and they both crawl as fast as they can to the baby gate and wait.

Last thought to leave you with. You know how most people (probablly all) hate speaking in front of people? Well, Chad has to do a speech in front of over 2,000 on Thursday. Doesn't that suck! Good luck Chad.
