Tang Soo Do!

Maya was able to participate in Adam and Jack's martial arts class for buddy day.  Needless to say she LOVED it!  So we decided to sign her up, too.  Doesn't she look so cute in her uniform.  Can't wait for her to kick some a** :)

Grandma's visit

We had a great visit with Grandma Moorefield.  I failed to take any pictures.  I've really been slacking on that lately...

Anyways, Grandma's visit was productive, as usual.  Besides playing with and entertaining the kids, we took the boys to their martial arts class and Maya had ballet.  On Saturday, the boys had their "student of the months" pizza party.  I'll post pictures soon.  Sunday Nancy and I went to IKEA.  It's about 2 hours away.  We left at 8 am and got home around 3.  I ended up buying Maya a desperately needed dresser and bookcase.

Today everyone is sick.  I kept the kids home from school.  Jack stayed home yesterday, too.  I'm getting a sore throat and the sniffles and Chad is also congested.  But, whether the kids are sick tomorrow or not, THEY ARE GOING TO SCHOOL!  I can't take the whining and fighting for another day!

Another lost tooth

Jack lost his second tooth, not counting the one that was knocked out of his mouth 3 years ago!  Last night Jack woke up at 12:30 upset that the tooth fairy had not yet come.  I told him that she will come some time in the night.  Thankfully he woke me up because the "tooth fairy" would have forgotten and Jack would have been really sad!  He was super excited when he woke up to find 2 quarters under his pillow.

Master White Belts

The boys are now Master White Belts.  Two weeks ago they tested to earn this belt.  The testing was over 2 hours long of them demonstrating their combination skills and verbally answering questions about their Masters and rules.  They did a great job!

So yesterday, they had a belt ceremony where Master Circle presents them with their new belts.  The boys also earned "Student of the Month".  I was beyond thrilled that they choose both boys instead of one.  That would have been a hard life lesson to learn.  So the boys get to have a pizza party at Koguryo and invite 20 friends.  They are very excited about this!  I'm so proud of them!

Maya, the ballerina!

Maya had her first ballet class today.  It is actually half ballet half tap.  Saying she loved would be an understatement!  She went right in to the class and smiled from ear to ear the entire time.  She loved everything about it, and her teacher, Miss Jen, was so sweet.  It was also nice to have the boys waiting on her for once.  Seems like we are always dragging Maya along to the boys' activities.
