School, soccer and other stuff

School has finally started. We were lucky that Grandma was here visiting when they started. The boys go Monday thru Thursday morning and Maya goes Tues and Thursday morning. They all seem to like it so far. I split the boys this year and they have doing great with it. Maya likes her class as long as she sees her friends, Maddie and Lena.

Soccer season has started. Adam is now on the blue team, which they named themselves the "thundercats". Most of his last team moved on to kindergarten, so he's now on a new team, which seems to be more his speed.

We got bunk beds. The boys love them. Jack is on top and Adam is on the bottom. Naturally, as soon as we put them up, the boys wanted to make a fort out of them.

end of summer

We went to the zoo today, for one last summer adventure. School finally starts next Tuesday. It's been a fun, long, summer and now we are all ready to get back to a school schedule. The boys will be going to Pre-K Monday thru Thursday mornings. Maya will be in preschool Tuesday and Thursday mornings. It will be a bit emotional to have all 3 gone for those few short hours, but I'm really excited.

Maya had her 3 year check up today. She's 26 lbs (10%) and 36 inches (40%)...basically she's a "peanut". I love my little peanut!

As the party ended, the girls had enough of being prissy and decided to play with the boys' swords...as Lena demonstrates.
