Maya has been doing indoor soccer for several weeks and loves it. She calls it "soccer ball" and always asks to play. I'm not sure if she likes the soccer or just running around with her best pals, Maddie and Lena.

Skiing
Chad and I went skiing today. It was so much fun! I haven't been since high school, so I was excited but really nervous. The first run I flew down the hill and wiped out. After that, it was like riding a bike...well, maybe not that easy. Anyways, we have a family ski trip planned in March and I wanted to make sure I was ready. We are going to Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia. It will be our first ski trip as a family and our good friends, the Passalacqua's, are coming with us. I'm so excited to see how the boys do in ski school!

Potty words, Cupid, and Daddy...
The boys have discovered Cupid. They are so creative in a naughty way! They love Cupid because he wears a diaper...ha ha ha.... and Cupid rhymes with stupid! So now they say cupid and just laugh.
Chad has been out of town since Wednesday and thankfully he comes home tomorrow. I think the kids are ready to have daddy back...and have a little less of mommy! Here's a picture of Chad he sent to us today from snowboarding in Colorado with his friends.

Snow Day!
This has been a longer week than usual. The kids were off school last Monday for MLK day, Wednesday Jack was sick from school, then Friday was a snow day! The first part of the week Maya and Jack had bad coughs. Towards the end of the week, when the kids were feeling a bit better, the weather turned COLD, too cold to play outside. There was one point where we didn't leave the house in days. Finally, today Chad and I said lets bundle them up and go sledding. It was so much fun! We bought these new covers for their gloves called Glover Covers. They go over their snow mittens to keep them on and in place. It absolutely worked and the kids (boys) could have stayed out in the 18 degree weather all day! I bought Maya different mittens that haven't arrived yet, so her hand weren't as warm. She was fine with the cold until her and Jack's sled flipped over and she smacked her face on the ice. After that, Maya and I watched a movie in the car while the boys finished up sledding.

Maya and her "Snow White" hair
Maya has decided that she will only let me braid her hair if I call it "Snow White hair". I'm pretty sure Snow White doesn't have braids, but I'll do anything to get Maya's hair cute. She either has cute "princess hair" aka pig tails or she looks like a caveman with her scrappy hair in her face. I was so excited she let me do her hair that I took a ton of pictures!...and she loved every second of it!
