"I want to paint"

I try to let the kids take turns deciding what we do. Today, Adam wanted to paint. It's such a messy process, but I thought I'd just go with it and let them have some fun.

At this point, I just let them have fun. Thank goodness for washable paint!

Exhausted!

The boys had a playdate today with Vince (from their preschool) and his 5 year old brother Nicolas, (along with baby sister, Isabel). The boys played so hard that they were ready for bed at 7:00 and fast asleep at 7:30. For those of you who know Adam and Jack, that is unheard of! They didn't even wrestle or bang on the door to go potty when we put them to bed. Looks like we need more playdates!

Mullet-be-gone!

Maya had her first hair cut today. It was time to cut off the mullet she has been growing! I had to hold her on my lap so I didn't get very good pictures. As soon as we came home I had to make sure she could still wear her piggy tails, which she can!

So, if you noticed, Jack's pj's are a bit small! These are Maya's size 18 mo. pj's! Jack is going through a little phase of wanting to wear his old pajamas. He's even uncomfortable but won't let me take them off!

I think it's funny how Maya squints when she smiles for the camera. Well, I found the below picture of me on my 2nd birthday. Apparently, I also did that. Oh, and notice the sweet mullet I was sporting...Maya got that too. Poor girl!

Soccer Time!

I decided to sign the boys up for soccer since it has been way too cold for us to get outside and burn off energy. They both really liked it...at first. Actually, Adam loved it and had a great time. Jack, on the other hand, ended up not liking it. I think it's because he's use to always being first. Jack is very competitive and always tries to be the first for everything. Since Adam is so laid back, he usually get's to be first. I'm hoping this class will teach Jack that he can't always win and be the first. We'll see. Jack was bawling by the time we left...

Pretty in Pink!

I've been getting some slack about always having Maya in her brothers hand-me-downs. So I decided to show everyone that she does indeed have girly things and is indeed the cutest little thing EVER! She loves her tutu (thanks Aunt Mandy) and knows she looks adorable in it.

But no matter how girly she looks, she wants to hang with the big boys!
